The challenge to define and achieve 2020 Vision for Wisconsin’s Environmental Tomorrow is rooted in both financial and organizational matters.
Organizational
Environmental
Education will be maximized within the state of Wisconsin when all
related parties work in connection with one another. Without a shared vision and plan, the natural tendency is to
function and act individually. Though efforts have been made to create a
collaborative effort, there is a strong need for a formal planning
process.
Financial
In recent years, WEEB has lost over $400,000 in annual State funds due to budget cuts. Because of this, the average size of the grants that are being offered is declining at an alarming rate.
